Rowing on the lake from Soustons
Training-camp and much more in South of France, closed to Biarritz

Within the last years in Soustons we could establish a location for toplevel trainigscamps – used regularly by the French National Team, but also by the German Scullars and the best oarsmen from Holland: Here you see Jan-Willem Gabriels, Gijs Vermeulen and Matthijs Valenga, photo by Geerd Cirkel in Octobre 2007; two weeks every morning these conditions. It was their fourth stay in Soustons since 2005.

The lake is almost five km along, at the narrow middle part – here behind the “boys” – is located the 2.000 m Albano-System. The Water-Sports-Center is situated in the South-West-corner of the lake, apart of the rowing area. You might row the whole length of the lake without a check, no turn necessary.

In 2005 we constructed three new buildings, each has eight rooms for two persons. Two beds, shower and toilette and TV; internet by W-LAN (no extra price). Since beginning of 2008 we can offer a Gym specially equipped for oarsmen – in addition to the sportshall.

In the elder part of the Center we have 72 more beds in four-bed-rooms; here is also situated the citchen and huge diningroom. All this is located within 100 m radius.

You might eat whatever you like: Just send us an idea about what you would like to have and we will make a first plan for the meals – which you can correct.
