The “ Silver Coast” of the Atlantic Ocean is about seven km away, the Pyrenees can be seen most days. The enormous forest of pines here in “Les Landes” - which is the less populated region in France – offers marvellous possibilities, specially for racing bikes: Endless roads, well prepared, no traffic.

The Dune from Pyla can be reached by bike just as well as the Bask Country with its incomparable landscape and its countless mountain passes

San Sebastian, St Jean de Luz, caves from Sare and Isturitz et Oxtozelaha, Pau, Tarbes, Salies de Béarn, but also the Central Pyrenees with its touristic and natural sources can be reached by car within one or two hours. To go to Biarritz and see the waves breaking against the cliffs will take just 30 minutes.

There is so much more, you wont discover in two weeks – even without rowing. So you would have to come back ! Would be a pleasure for us.
